She joins the group to make the circle but none of them understands the power of dark powers. She later learns that her mom did not die from accident.

‘The Secret Circle’ Series Canceled

Just as things were going to get hotter, EW decided to cancel “The Secret Circle EP.” This comes as a shocker, as people were expecting a second season of the show. Well, the show was getting exciting, as we saw Charles had magically summoned 6 demons, and they had entered his body, so as to help him save Melissa, Jake and Faye. It was a good prospect for the next season as the demons, which entered Charle’s body, was adamant on not leaving his body after the rescue operation. We had been expecting a second season where these demons inside Charles’s body would control him and make him do stuff.

As the actors on the show admit that there was somewhat of a rift in the plot that divided the young cast from the old. The plot at some times leaned either towards the youth, or else, towards the old. Charles’s character too has evolved into a very different manner, and that was the highlight of the series this year. He had transformed himself from being a totally evil guy to a person who makes a sacrifice to save others. As they say season 1 established the characters completely, and they had expected the season 2 to provide some fireworks. There were so many plots jutting out in the series that it would have made a great season 2.

The prospect that Adam would become a bad character in the season 2 had excited many viewers. Adam who was deployed to dispose the crystal skull was seen caressing it the last time we saw. The story would have been great. Then Cassie too, might have joined the dark powers, while Diana would continue to fight against the dark forces. Then, Jake becoming the good guy; all this was on cards, and we could see that in the last few episodes. That is why we feel that it would have made a great second part.

The cancellation of the series has led to disappointment amongst the fans, but it looks like management of the TV network has made the decision for their own good.
