Chris Zylka has apologised to his ex-girlfriend Lucy Hale for insulting on her Twitter.
Zylka and Hale dated for six-months before finally deciding to break up.
The Secret Circle actor recently posted on Twitter Hale broke up with him because she thought she was “too good” for him.
This followed a barrage of messages by Hale’s angry fans who thought he had insulted her.
To soothe Hale’s fans and to clarify he didn’t mean any ill will, Chris Zylka recently posted an apology on Twitter in which he wrote: “I’d like to apologise about my previous comments. Lucy is not only one of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing but also one the most beautiful inside, and out.
“Anyone who’s ever watched, or had the pleasure of meeting her knows this to be true.”
The actor added he didn’t mean to offend Hale or any of her her fans.
“I apologise for tarnishing any view anyone has on this amazing women (sic)… I had the honour of loving her. That love will never fade, as your love should never fade from her is well.”
“She’s going to change the world one day. And the last thing I want to do is be any reason for her to look bad in any way. She['s] a remarkable human with an infectious personality, and a heart bigger than anyone’s I’ve ever known.
“And I’ll continue to be her biggest fan as I know she will to me too. Love you all and be well and don’t forget [her Pretty Little Liars character] ARIA RULES!!!!!”
